"Time is precious. Waste it wisely"
As a Mom I often feel like I need things to do things with my children to "kill" or waste time. I caught myself thinking this thought this month: "why do I want to waste time?" It's the word "waste" that is all wrong.
Now, I know children grow up and that's not surprising. But what is surprising is how fast they grow up. I find myself looking at my 6 year old and seeing the 1 year old he once was. I imagine looking at him when he's my age...what will I remember about him. My mom died when I was 18, my sister was 16 and my brother was 13. She was 49. In just about 8 years I will be 49. I know I am not destined for the same fate but subconsciously you can't help but think what if I only have 8 years left with my children; "wasting" time isn't something i want to do with them. "Time is precious. Waste it wisely" is my new motto and take lots of pictures too of course.
Here's how we "wasted" time this month.....
The first "snows"....
A warm day in December ... really warm!
