Every year at this time, we escape the confines of our town and adventure to the wilderness. This year we went to Prattsville, NY with a population of 744. It's only two and half hours away from home but that is just fine with us. We like to rent a house so that all we need is right where we are. It's is nice to get out into nature. Nature helps to recenter and rejuvenate the soul. Here are some photos from our little jaunt around the property where we stayed.

The following photo is an in camera double exposure. When I turn the photo horizontally the trees are growing out of her ears (lol) so I think it looks better vertically where she is part of the landscape versus the landscape "growing out of her" (Lol).
