Frames in a Day : Flashback to Summer 2014I was going through my archives looking for something in particular when I found these images. I didn't think much about them when I first downloaded them. These are from our trip home to Ireland to see Granny last summer. But now I was finding myself being pulled to them. Not because they are stellar images but because they form a memory and a short story of childhood; running barefoot throughout the thick Irish grass carefree and happy. This is why I take so many pictures. There are a million moments that make up a day and we can't possible remember all of them. Many times you don't think they are memories worth remembering but you document anyway. I mean she is just running through the grass what's to remember. But put all of them together and it's like a little time capsule...a time preserved forever. I saw her out in the field from Granny's kitchen window. It all started here. I had nothing else to do, so I just went out after her and clicked away. I am so glad I did. Comments
