"There is more to life than increasing its speed." ~Mahatma Ghandi Stop and "smell the roses" (or look at leaves)....you'd be amazed at what you might find....
My weekly rewind: The Daily Frame | 201 of 365: "The mind is what it thinks. To make it true, think true." ~Nisargadatta Maharaj
The Daily Frame | 200 of 365: Picture this: Back to school picnic grades 2 - 5.....silly string for sale. I say no more....
The Daily Frame | 199 of 365: Wild goose chase....
The Daily Frame 198 of 365: True friends NEVER EVER miss a beat.
The Daily Frame | 197 of 365: He dons a cape while riding his scooter...he must have wanted me to take pictures....I love his imagination...and it will get him everywhere! Keep moving kid...don't let anything or anyone get in your way!
The Daily Frame | 196 of 365: "Play At Your Own Risk" Really? We met one of my son's great friends today and played (at our own risk, mind you) for HOURS! They had such a fun time together running, using their imaginations...being 7 year olds (and my daughter being a 4 year old). Good old fashioned, unstructured fun. As they played we talked about how much pressure these kids experience in school, how the cuuriculum is pushing them into places their brains are just not yet ready for...developmentally inappropriate. I think in a lot of ways this "Play At Your Own Risk" sign should be outside of schools these days and say "Learn At Your Own Risk". I feel as bad for the teachers as I do the children....
The Daily Frame | 195 of 365: Rain....after about two months....it has rained. Never thought we'd be so happy to see a rainy day!
Please stop by my neighbor, Colleen Putnam, to see how she spent her week! Knock here!!
